Zurich Series

We have just designed, printed and delivered the Programme for the prestigious 11th Zurich International Orchestra Series.

Held at Cadogan Hall, these concerts are now regarded as the largest and most comprehensive series of international orchestras in the country.

Graphic Impressions is honoured to have been commissioned again to design and produce this programme.

August 2015

New biz wins

Graphic Impressions has been successful in two new project pitches, well done our design team. The first was for the London Borough of Enfield, for a new council initiative...'Enjoy Enfield’. This is to encourage residents and visitors to spend more of their leisure time in the borough to enjoy all the local facilities. We designed a logo brand, posters, magazine, listing booklet and web banners.

The second was a branding pitch for a new department at St Barts Health NHS Trust, called Barts Health Education Academy. Barts have merged 4 departments together and started to develop a commercial strategy for education under this new department.

Two ‘Healthy and Shipshape’ Reports!

Graphic Impressions have just delivered two Annual Reports to clients. The first was for St George’s Healthcare NHS Trust, which was designed and produced in 3 weeks, we needed an energy boost after that! The second Report was for the Bahamas Maritime Authority, an international Ship Registry, and was the fourth Annual Report we have done for them.

One-Two combination

We have just delivered the publicity posters, tent cards and strut-cards to 26 Mercure Hotels for a 'burger and a pint of Budweiser' special deal during the World Cup.

This deal only applies to the 26 Mercure Hotels that are listed on the Jupiter Hotels website

2014 Good news comes in threes...


We have recently completed the re-branding of The Cardinal Wolsey All Seasons Restaurant & Bar, in East Molesey. This consisted of a new logo and branding. We designed and produced signage, menu covers, menus and their stationery.

Still preferred!

We are very happy to have been informed that Graphic Impressions has been re-appointed to the preferred supplier list for design for the Royal Borough of Kington. This is for 4 years from 2014 and we are already working on new projects for them.

Raising Funders!

We recently won a new client, the Institute of Fundraising and have produced a few projects for them. We are currently working on a new logo and branding for their ‘National Convention 2014’. We are also designing and producing all the marketing materials for the convention, including online resources.

We have also been asked to present some design concepts for a new campaign for them during 2014, to 'raise the profile of fundraisers'. This campaign will be launched at their convention in July.

Hitting the High Notes!

Graphic Impressions has just delivered 12,000 copies of the Cadogan Hall Concert Season to the English Chamber Orchestra for their 2013/2014 season.

This is the 6th Concert Season brochure we have produced for them since we started working with them in 2008. This relationship with the ECO is something we are very proud of.

Also, we are currently working on the design concepts for the Bahamas Maritime Authority’s Annual Report, which we hope to present shortly. This is due for publication early Autumn.

Its fun to make an error!

Graphic Impressions has been working with Barts Health NHS Trust to create a fun '404' error page for their website. This is not just a 2D illustrated image - we have animated the illustration to bring a smile even though an error has been made! This went live at the end of June.

Also during June we delivered 20,000 copies of a 48 page training booklet, Your Statutory and Mandatory Training Booklet, to Barts for distribution to all the Trust's clinics and hospitals. Having been awarded the project we designed, artworked and printed the booklets.

The Director of Academic Health Sciences, Professor Jo Martin, said of the booklets:
"This is a new and innovative method of delivery for the Trust's statutory and mandatory training. The Trust is committed to providing a safe environment for all their patients and staff, both in the hospital and community settings. In order to build and maintain these high safety standards, it is essential that all of the staff have the appropriate skills, knowledge and ability to undertake their roles."

…and the good news keeps coming…

We have just completed the design of the Cadogan Hall 10th Anniversary logo commemorating the opening of the prestigious concert venue …how time has flown!

Also, we are in the process of designing a new type font for their exclusive use on future marketing, a skill not many Design Agencies can boast. This we are doing as a thank you for all the support they have given to Graphic Impressions over the years.

These two projects have really excited us here, look out for them in use at the Hall.

Another new business win!

Graphic Impressions are pleased to announce we have been awarded the design and production of the THET Annual Review and Accounts for 2012, after a successful creative pitch. This Review will be published in July. THET had seen a copy of the Merlin Annual Review and Accounts for 2011, that we designed and liked it so much they invited us to take part in the tender process for their Annual Report and Accounts.

THET is a specialist global health organisation that educates, trains and supports health workers through global health partnerships, strengthening health systems and enabling people in low and middle income countries to access essential healthcare.

Great new business win!

Graphic Impressions are proud to announce we have been awarded the design, copy editing and production of the Merlin Annual Review and Accounts for 2012, after a creative pitch. This Review will be published in July. Graphic Impressions also designed and produced the Annual Review for 2011, see the 'Charity and Non-Profit' section of this website here, which was very well received by the client. Because of this we were invited to take part in the 2012 Review tender process.

Merlin is the UK’s leading international health charity, sending medical experts to the frontline of global emergencies. When disaster strikes, their doctors and nurses work around the clock to save lives, fast. Working together with tireless health workers on the ground, they take countries shattered by war, earthquake or floods from emergency to recovery – staying for as long as it takes. A fantastic organisation.

EGGcellent response!

We had so many entrants for our Easter Egg Hunt competition we have decided – as ‘eggs’ come in boxes of a dozen – to give the first lucky twelve entrants a prize of one of our lovely Easter Eggs. When they have been ‘hatched’ they will be hopefully delivered to your offices by Thursday, in time to enjoy over the Easter holiday.

Thank you to all those that took part and better luck next time to those that were unsuccessful.

Award nomination

On Friday, March 1st, Steve Croad will be attending the Jupiter Hotels Annual Suppliers Award Lunch in Leicester, as Graphic Impressions have been nominated for an award. The citation reads as follows:

"Having downsized our marketing team by two-thirds, Jupiter needed to develop external marketing support. We turned to Graphic Impressions, who we had worked with before for assistance. They demonstrated unwavering commitment and out of hours support to marketing over the last 12 months. Key projects have included the group rebrand in terms of design, artwork and print of all hotel collateral, Christmas 2012, and Everybody's MAD campaign. They have consistently used their own initiative, working within our tight budgets, with speed and using their expertise to fully immerse themselves in the Mercure brand guidelines. In 2012 they even met with the Accor Marketing team to help smooth the way for Jupiter in terms of branding and buy in for Christmas 2012 brochure designs/theme. They have played a key role working enthusiastically, sensitively and patiently with Accor and Jupiter balancing two very different cultures to produce Christmas collateral to suit both parties. Impressively this has resulted in Graphic Impressions producing Christmas collateral for all 70 Mercure hotels and in turn playing a part in the % increases in the Christmas & New figures for both Jupiter and Moorfield Hotels for 2012."

Happy New Year from the Graphic Impressions team!

We hope everyone has had a well-deserved break and ready to tackle 2013 head on.

Here at GI, we wrapped up another busy and successful year on Friday December 22nd for a well earned rest to recharge the 'creative brains'.

Towards the end of 2012 we won two new clients - Strutt & Parker, a large national property consultancy, and the Polka Theatre, based in Wimbledon this is a unique venue that is dedicated to producing and presenting work for young audiences. We were also awarded the design and production of the Children's Rights Alliance of England, a charity for protecting children's rights, brochure 'State of Children's Rights', to be delivered in January.

Also during the last month of 2012 we finished and delivered the Cadogan Hall's Spring 2013 Brochure of forthcoming events and concerts; the 'Health Workers at the heart of the MDGs' brochure for Merlin, the leading UK's international health charity, sending medical experts to the frontline of global emergencies; the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's Resident Brochure at the Cadogan Hall for 2013 and 4 x 2 page marketing leaflets for the Economist Plaza, three buildings situated off St James's Street, for Mellersh & Harding a long established property consultancy.

Looking forward to being as busy for our clients during 2013.

Bahamas Maritime website has set sail

We were invited to re-design the website for the Bahamas Maritime Authority, one of the world's leading ship registration organisations. The challenge was to bring a fresh and clean approach to the site while retaining the serious and informative nature of the site. The Bahamas Maritime Authority has offices throughout the world and the website needs to work for the different markets and clientele, bringing an ease of use and functionality. We also built the CMS and host the site.

The new site was launched at the end of October.
